The nose is fruity, chocolatey and offers a certain gourmandize. It reveals notes of pulpy blackberry, pulpy cassis, small notes of small black berries associated with fine touches of dark chocolate/cocoa, toasted as well as a very discreet hint of raspberry and ceylan tea. The palate is fruity, slightly tight and offers minerality, an acidulous frame as well as a small tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of bright small black berries, cassis, small notes of bright black cherry associated with a touch of juicy/acidulous redcurrant, chocolate, cocoa, toasted/toasted oak and an imperceptible hint of spices. Tannins are racy and finely chewy.
