The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity. The nose is open, fragrant and tangy, with floral and minty aromas that reveal themselves after aeration. It expresses notes of red cherry, wild raspberry, fresh cranberries, red plum, combined with aromas of wild rose, lilac, liquorice, star anise, peppermint, as well as toasted wood and cocoa in the background, rosemary and fresh bay leaf. On the palate, the wine is straight, precise and chiseled. It expresses notes of cranberries (with a slight bitterness), red cherry, raspberry, as well as bird cherry in the background, combined with notes of aromatic herbs (dried mint, dried rosemary, bay leaf), spices (licorice, a hint of nutmeg), cocoa and flowers (lilac, dried rose in the background). The tannins are fine, well-built, and structured. Beautiful, mouth-watering acidity, combined with toasted (coffee, toasted hazelnut) and mentholated notes on the finish. The finish is quite long, toasted, and gourmand.
