Poggio di Sotto 2021 – Rosso di Montalcino

The nose is aromatic, fruity and ripe, reflecting a sunny summer. It expresses notes of juicy morello cherry, crushed raspberry, red cherry, blackcurrant, as well as a hint of toast (toasted hazelnut) and floral, as well as a delicate touch of sweet spices. The palate is fresh, but juicy and enveloping. It expresses the gourmet flavors of wild strawberry, crushed raspberry, morello cherry and blackcurrant, associated with a light smoky and toasted touch, as well as a mineral and floral hint in the background. The tannins are velvety and melted, beautiful acidity and persistence.
