Poggerino 2021 – Chianti Classico

Poggerino 2021 – Chianti Classico

(organic) The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity. The nose is fresh, fruity and precise. It expresses notes of red cherry, crunchy strawberry, crushed raspberry and red currants, combined with notes of wildflowers and cornflower, as well as a hint of basil and balsamic. The palate is lively, frank and tangy. There are flavors of red cherry, crushed raspberry, tart strawberry, as well as cranberries, wildflowers, dried basil and balsamic. The finish is chiselled, on the fruit and a salivating acidity. The tannins are structured, but fine, very slightly bitter. A straight and fresh wine.
