Beautiful precise, deep nose that offers a certain concentration. Needs to be decanted to open up. A certain complexity and a slight textured/ graphite side on the nose. There are notes of boysenberry, quite ripe blueberry and small notes of morello cherry associated with touches of fig, dried fruits as well as beautiful balsamic hints, concentrated redcurrants and hints of Zan, tabaco, sage and a slight hint of oregano/fresh aromatic herbs. The mouth is beautifuly racy and offers juiciness, suavity, a mineral frame, tension, a beautiful racy minerality character, tension, precision as well as clarity of the fruit. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of concentrated blackberry, concentrated small red fruits and small notes of blueberry associated with touches of infusion, sage, sense of place (local biotop, clear oak etc…), hints of liquorice stick, balsamic as well as slight hints of nutmeg and toasted almond. Good length. Chewy tannins. A discreet hint of a fresh grove, part of the sense of place (The vineyard is surrounded by a national park).
