The nose is fruity, full and a bit gourmand. It reveals notes of black cherry, plum and slight notes of cassis jelly associated with a touch of liquorice, a hint of black olive, a discreet hint of spice as well as a fine hint of laurel a discreet touch of pepper. The palate is fruity, racy and offers minerality, a small freshness, density, volume, a nice fat as well as a silky and slightly unctuous matter. On the palate this wine expresses notes of cherry, dried strawberry, plum and slight notes of sour cherry associated with a discreet touch of cassis jam as well as a hint of black olive, tobacco, cardamom, Zan and a few slight notes of oak. Tannins are supple and well built. Good length.
