The nose is aromatic, racy and offers a fine concentration as well as power. It reveals notes of ripe red berries, dried wild strawberries, blackberries and small notes of racy minerality associated with touches of undergrowth, sweet spices as well as a hint of gray pepper, caramelization and discreet hints of vanilla. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, racy and offers good definition, freshness, a fine mineral frame as well as a fine tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy raspberry, juicy blackberry and small red berries associated with small touches of undergrowth, spices as well as a very discreet hint of caramelization and a hint of mushroom. Tannins are fine and finely chewy. Good length and beautiful persistence.
