The nose offers power, a fine grain and a fine intensity. It reveals notes of wild strawberry, small wild fruits, small notes of ripe bigarreau cherry associated with touches of Boysen berry, violet and lily. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers juiciness, a fine acidulous frame and minerality. On the palate this wine expresses notes of wild raspberry, wild strawberry, small notes of violet/iris associated with touches of crunchy bigarreau cherry, fine touches of laurel as well as hints of nutmeg. Good length. Tannins are very finely marked. A very discreet hint of toasted hazelnut on the persistence.
