Poderi Marcarini – Barolo DOCG 2017 del Comune di La Morra

On the nose it is fruity, elegant, aromatic and offers a certain slight power, a certain finesse. It reveals notes of pulpy blackberry, fleshy cassis and more slightly fleshy strawberry associated with small touches of sweet blond tobacco and vanilla. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, freshness, a certain minerality, flavor, a nice roundness with finesse and well balanced. The wine expresses notes of pulpy / juicy cherry, fleshy / pulpy blackberry and more slightly of bright plum plum associated with touches of crushed berry fruits, liquorice, chocolate, toasted almond and a subtle hint of rose / bay laurel, toasted. The tannins are precise and offer a little straightness and a fine firmness. Good length.
