Poderi Luigi Einaudi – Barolo DOCG 2017 Bussia, Monforte d’Alba

The nose is floral, elegant and offers a little concentration, a certain controlled power and accuracy. It reveals notes of rose, small pulpy red fruits (cherry, raspberry) associated with a touch of red plum as well as fine hints of liquorice, caramelization and a discreet hint of vanilla. The palate is elegant, all in finesse / mastery and offers a certain richness, gourmandize, a little concentration and a flowery side. On the palate this wine expresses notes of rose, small dried flowers and more slightly of raspberry associated with touches of small red fruits as well as a hint of plum, with fine hints of tobacco, hazelnut and local grove. The tannins are structuring.
