The nose is aromatic, fruity and offers a fine generosity. The wine needs to be put in carafe. It reveals notes of blackberry, fleshy wild strawberry and small notes of fleshy / juicy redcurrant combined with a hint of cherry, cooked cassis, fine touches of spices, toasted oak as well as very discreet hints of laurel / olive, racy minerality and dried black olives. The palate is fresh, well-balanced, well-structured and offers suavity, fat, a good definition, an acid frame as well as straightness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry, fleshy wild strawberry and small notes of cassis, cherry, juicy wild raspberry combined with touches of toasted oak, chocolate / cocoa, sweet spices as well as an imperceptible touch of racy minerality and grove. Tannins are structuring and a bit firm. Good length. The finish is slightly powerful.
