The wine has a pale ruby color, with slight garnet reflections. The nose is fragrant, floral and a little sweet. It opens with floral notes of peony, iris and lilac, complemented by a touch of dried rose and cornflower. Then, it expresses the aromas of fresh red plum, morello cherry, sour red cherry, fresh raspberry and crushed blueberry, combined with notes of peppermint, fresh tobacco, mint chocolate in the background, as well as a spicy hint (cumin, cardamom, liquorice), lemon thyme and infusion (tea). The palate is straight, lively, tangy. The attack expresses a sharp acidity, a good bitterness, as well as fine and cocoa tannins (also with a bitter hint), but slightly grippy. Then we find the flavors of red cherry, cranberries, raspberry, morello cherry, blackcurrant and red plum, complemented by herbaceous touches (blackcurrant bud, lemon thyme, peppermint), floral (lilac, violet, cornflower) and spicy (cardamom, liquorice, a touch of white pepper and Timut pepper). Good length, lots of gourmandise on the nose and freshness on the palate.
