Podere Moretti – Occhetti 2013 Nebbiolo – Langhe

The nose is fruity and offers a fine concentration as well as elegance. It reveals notes of red berries and raspberry associated with small notes of blackberry, garrigue, racy minerality, a hint of spices as well as an imperceptible touch of flowers and tobacco (in the background). The palate is fruity, juicy, well-balanced, racy and offers a fine freshness, minerality, a fine acid frame, gourmandise, dynamism, elegance as well as a good structure. On the palate this wine expresses notes of wild raspberry, blackberry and small notes of berries associated with a hint of cherry, small juicy red berries as well as fine touches of sweet spices, laurel / olive and a very discreet / imperceptible hint of vanilla (in the background). Tannins are fine and very finely chewy. Good length.
