It expresses in particular the aromas of roasted red cherry, morello cherry, roasted raspberry, strawberry, dried cranberries, red currant jelly, associated with notes of cocoa, dark chocolate, chocolate cherry, toasted hazelnut, with a savoury spiciness (liquorice, clove, a hint of cinnamon), a floral bouquet (dried rose, violet) and herbaceous hints (dried mint, dried thyme), as well as a resinous touch of pine sap, pine needles and tapenade in the background. On the palate, the wine is gourmand, fruity and juicy. It expresses the flavors of roasted red cherry, fresh morello cherry, black plum, blackberry, wild strawberry, crushed raspberry, dried cranberries, as well as notes of chocolate with mint, cocoa, a resinous touch of pine sap and dried pine needles, a floral bouquet (dried rose, violet), as well as a fine herbaceous hints (dried mint, rosemary, thyme) and some spiciness (liquorice, nutmeg). The tannins are well structured, a bit grippy, but enveloped by a beautiful fruitiness and a salivating acidity. Good persistence in the mouth, fruity, gourmand and slightly bitter.
