(Bottled in 2016) The nose is rich, gourmand, full, quite elegant and relatively powerful. It reveals notes of lemon and tarte Tatin associated with a hint of apple, dried fruits and a hint of caramelized orange. The palate is fruity, suave, well-balanced, relatively fat, slightly aerial and offers a nice freshness, a nice matter. On the palate this Porto expresses notes of lemon, marmalade and fine notes of tarte Tatin associated with hints of caramel, exotic fruits, wood, hazelnut as well as a fine hint of chocolate and cigar. Good length and persistence.
