On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, juicy bigarreau cherry and small notes of small wild red fruits associated with fine touches of liquorice, chocolate as well as very fine hints of chocolate, mild tobacco and an imperceptible hint of mushroom (in the background).
