The nose is aromatic, fine and offers a very fine austerity. It offers notes of crushed cassis, black cherry and ripe red bell pepper associated with a subtle hint of flowers, discreet hints of chocolate, spices as well as a slight hint of nutmeg and subtle hints of gray pepper. The palate is fruity, juicy, fresh, well-balanced and offers a fine mineral frame, a good roundness / volume, a good definition as well as a fine juiciness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of black cherry, plum, cassis and fine touches of strawberry associated with subtle touches of gray pepper and a very discreet hint of almond. Tannins are fine and very slightly dusty. Good length. There is a touch of dark chocolate on the finish/persistence.
