The nose is powerful, structured and relatively aromatic. It reveals notes of sour cherry and small black fruits associated with touches of coffee, blackberry as well as fine notes of liquorice, spice and a touch of Sichuan pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers minerality, a good structure and an unctuous matter. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry jam, cassis and fines notes of black cherry associated with fine touches of juicy plum, zan as well as discreet touches of wood. Tannins are fine and slightly dry. Good length.
