The nose is aromatic, pronounced with dark fruits. The second nose is more discreet with some pot pourri aromas and still dark fruits like black currant. It is fresh, almost minty and a hint of leather. The mouth is fresh with a nice acidity. The tannins are strong, dry and intense. The middle of the mouth is dry and salivating thanks to the acidity. The tannins are persistant in the finish. We do have a bit of coffee with black currant and black cherry. The fruit profile is fresh and crispy. The end of the tasting is on the black fruit skin.
