It reveals notes of ripe wild cassis, blackberry and small notes of juicy plum associated with touches of small blue fruits, violet, camphor, hints of Bourbon vanilla, caramelization as well as a subtle hint of tea and sweet spices. The palate is fruity, elegant, delicate, beautifully-built and offers finesse, gourmandize, an acidulous frame as well as a fine tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/ripe cassis, plum and small notes of blackberry associated with a touch of crushed cherry / strawberry, Bourbon vanilla, toasted as well as discreet hints of tonka bean, caramelization, tea, a subtle hint of liquorice and an imperceptible hint of rosemary. Tannins are elegant and well-built. Good length. There is a very discreet hint of truffle on the persistence.
