The nose is elegant, aromatic, gourmand, racy and offers power, finesse as well as complexity. It reveals notes of fleshy / juicy blackberry, fleshy / juicy strawberry and small notes of plum associated with touches of chocolate, Bourbon vanilla as well as floral hints (violet, a very discreet hint of iris), black olive and chocolate. The palate is fruity, mineral, fresh, well-balanced and offers a good definition, finesse, tension as well as a beautiful finesse of the grain. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy cassis, fleshy cherry and small notes of fleshy / juicy blueberry associated with fine touches of flowers, toasted, vanilla and very discreet toasted hints / toasted almond. Good length. There is a hint of hazelnut / vanilla on the finish / persistence. A very fine fat and a very fine creaminess on the finish. Beautiful persistence.
