The nose is elegant, fruity and offers a small intensity, a fine power as well as a fine grain. It reveals notes of ripe wild cassis, kirsch black cherry and small notes of blackberry associated with fine touches of black pepper, strawberry, very fine hints of spices, nutmeg as well as a discreet hint of liquorice and an imperceptible hint of “sense of place” (dry local vegetation). The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers juiciness, a juicy / acidulous frame, a fine tension, a good definition, roundness as well as a fine gourmandize. On the palate this wine expresses notes of very ripe cassis, ripe blueberry and small notes of wild strawberry associated with very slight hints of blackberry, violet, licorice as well as a subtle hint of spices, gray pepper and cardamom. Good length. Presence of an imperceptible touch of almond on the persistence.
