The nose is elegant, fruity and offers a fine richness, a fine grain, gourmandize as well as a very fine intensity. It reveals notes of fleshy blackberry, fleshy strawberry and small notes of plum associated with fine touches of tonka bean/chocolate, toasted, vanilla and a very discreet hint of hazelnut, cardamom/spices (in the background). The palate is fruity, well-balanced, precise and offers elegance, gourmandize, tension as well as an acidulous/juicy frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of black cherry, fleshy blackberry and small notes of juicy/acidulous quetsche plum associated with small fine touches of red fruits (raspberry) as well as a subtle hint of violet, chocolate, toasted and a very discreet hint of toasted almond. Tannins are elegant. Good length.
