The nose is elegant, fruity, gourmand and offers a small ” coating ” side of the fruit. It reveals notes of fleshy strawberry, crushed cherry and small notes of blackberry associated with touches of cherry blossom, lily, zan as well as a subtle hint of black tea, a hint of graphite, salinity and a very discreet hint of camphor (in the background). The palate is fruity, elegant and offers a beautiful brightness of the fruit, roundness, fat, a nice silkiness, finesse in its richness/in its fat, a small tension as well as a slight straightness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy raspberry, bright cassis and small notes of bright redcurrants associated with touches of violet, pulpy small blue fruits, slight hints of liquorice, star anise, toasted almond a subtle hint of Bourbon vanilla bean, sense of the place / rose and a very discreet hint of cocoa bitterness on the finish / persistence. Tannins are precise, elegant, suave and racy. Sapidity on the finish/persistence.
