The nose is fruity, racy and offers a fine richness, a racy minerality as well as a very fine concentration. It reveals notes of fleshy blackberry, fleshy strawberry and small notes of plum associated with touches of toasted as well as small hints of cassis, chocolate and a very discreet hint of violet/Sichuan pepper. The palate is fruity, mineral, well-balanced and offers juiciness, a good definition as well as a fine acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy cherry, juicy/fleshy violet plum and small notes of fleshy/juicy cassis associated with fine touches of tonka bean/toasted, violet and liquorice stick. Tannins are well-built. Good length. There is a very discreet hint of hazel nut on the aftertaste (in the background).
