The nose is fresh, racy, and offers some minerality as well as a certain racy power. It reveals notes of fresh wild blackberry, fresh wild red fruits, and more slightly – notes of clove associated with floral touches as well as a subtle hint of star anise and nutmeg. The palate is fruity and offers minerality, good definition, juiciness, fine density, a certain freshness as well as good work on the bitterness. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy/fresh raspberry, pulpy/fresh cherry, and slight notes of cornflower associated with touches of small fresh/juicy berries as well as slight hints of nutmeg and sweet spices. The tannins are fine and finely tight.
