Pierre Naigeon – Clos Ressier 2016, Vieilles Vignes – Pouilly-Fuissé

The nose is fruity, racy and offers minerality, freshness as well as a slight gourmandise. It reveals notes of quince and white fruit (apple, brugnon) associated with touches of juicy citrus (lemon, tangerine) and very discreet hints of racy / gravels minerality and an imperceptible toasted hint. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, racy and offers a good definition, juiciness, gourmandise, minerality, elegance, delicacy, a fine unctuosity as well as a good finesse of the grain. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy pear, fleshy brugnon and small notes of crushed apple associated with small touches of quince, beeswax, very slight hints of small yellow fruits as well as a hint of vanilla, dried yellow grapes and honey. Good length.
