The nose is elegant, slight and rightly powerful. It reveals notes of small red berries and blackberry associated with a fine touch of raspberry, peony and fine hints of gray pepper. The palate is fruity, mineral (beautiful minerality!), velvety, well-balanced, straight, relatively gourmande and offers an acid frame, a beautiful finesse, a beautiful roundness as well as tension. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of redcurrant, strawberry and slight notes of plum associated with hints of small berries as well as very discreet notes of toasted oak/caramelized oak and a very discreet hint of chocolate. Tannins are fine and young. Good length.
