Pico Maccario – Epico 2019, Riserva – Nizza

The nose is fresh and offers a fresh/crunchy fruit. There are notes of purple plum, liquorice and more slightly morello cherry combined with fine hints of lily, spice and a very discreet hint of the sense of place (local biotop). The palate is fruity and offers freshness, juiciness, fresh acidity, a certain tension, accuracy as well as mastery. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of morello cherry, juicy blackcurrant and, more slightly, purple plum, combined with touches of violet, lily, as well as hints of blond tobacco and a subtle touch of clove. The tannins are finely marked on the finish/persistence.
