The nose is aromatic, spicy and offers a multilayered side. There are notes of boysenberry, wild strawberry and small notes of orange, thyme-lemon, spices associated with balsamic touches, toast, a grilled hint, Sichuan pepper as well as a subtle hint almost clove and iodine. The mouth is fruity and offers juiciness, an acidulous frame, tension, precision, suppleness, suavity, straightness as well as elegance, concentration and spices. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of juicy/ pulpy blackberry, quite ripe wild strawberry and small notes of balsamic associated with touches of orange, sage, lemony-thyme, pepper, toasted as well as hints of nutmeg, torrefied almond and a subtle hint of truffle in the background. Good length. Sapid and chewy tannins. Beautiful fat and roundness. Sapidity.
