The nose is fruity and offers power. This wine needs to be put in carafe. It reveals notes of blackberry, small berries and small notes of dry violet associated with touches of small crushed red berries, crushed strawberry as well as hints of cardamom, grey pepper and wilted rose. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a juicy/finely acidulous frame, a fine tension as well as finesse. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of cherry, fleshy/acidulous red berries, raspberry and small notes of acidulous blueberry associated with touches of cornflower, violet as well as fine hints of chocolate/tonka bean, cardamom and Bourbon vanilla. Tannins are structuring and very discreetly marked.
