The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity. The first nose is fruity and juicy and expresses distinct notes of red cherry and morello cherry. We then find the aromas of black plum, blackberry, red plum jam, as well as delicate chocolate and spicy touches (clove, white pepper, liquorice, dark chocolate). After aeration, the wine also reveals a fine aroma of mint and violet. The palate is gourmand, very fruity on the attack; it expresses the flavors of fresh morello cherry, wild strawberry, black plum, crushed raspberry and red cherry jam in the background, combined with touches of sweet spices (a slight hint of vanilla, white pepper, liquorice), flowers (violet, rose petals), mint and a very subtle hint of toasted hazelnut. The tannins are velvety, sapid, a little tight. Good persistence in the mouth with a delicate bitterness of dark chocolate and a salivating acidity.
