The nose is aromatic and offers power as well as a good finesse of the grain. It reveals notes of ripe cassis, ripe cherry and small notes of ripe blackberry associated with small touches of ripe small red fruits as well as discreet hints of toasted/oak, caramelization, very discreet hints of mild tobacco, sweet spices and a very discreet hint of pepper (in the background). The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a beautiful definition, a mineral frame, a fine freshness, a small aerial side, a beautiful silky/suave/fat touch as well as gourmandize. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/juicy cassis, fleshy/juicy cherry and small notes of juicy/fleshy small fruits (raspberry, blueberry) associated with fine touches of black olive, violet/pink laurel and a very discreet hint of mild tobacco/caramelization. Tannins are elegant and well-built.
