The nose is fruity, racy and offers power (but full of elegance), a beautiful touch as well as a beautiful finesse of the grain. It reveals notes of Bigarreau cherry, wild cassis and small notes of blackberry associated with fine touches of spices, Cuben pepper, almost saline minerality, sense of the place as well as very discreet hints of zan, dry black olive and an imperceptible hint of aromatic herbs. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a good definition, gourmandize, a mineral frame as well as a small tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of ripe cassis, ripe cherry and small notes of ripe small wild fruits (blueberry, raspberry) associated with small touches of mild tobacco, toasted, sweet spices as well as very fine hints of black olive and an imperceptible hint of tea/cardamom. Beautiful persistence and gourmandize on the finish.
