The nose is fruity, quite harmonious and a bit powerful. It reveals notes of black cherry jam, blackberry and fine notes of raspberry associated with a discreet hint of redcurrant as well as fine notes of tobacco, spice and oak. The palate is fruity, relatively gourmand, relatively fat and offers a good volume, minerality, suavity, fine freshness, a silky matter and a good structure. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, cassis jam, fine notes of raspberry and redcurrant associated with a slight touch of fig, dark chocolate, toasted oak as well as discreet hints of vanilla and fine touches of sweet spices. Tannins are fine.
