(Bottled in 2024) The nose is pretty and intense, it offers mellowness, a certain richness and depth. It reveals notes of dried fig, dried apricot and small notes of currant, associated with touches of marmalade, pretty touches of tobacco, as well as fine hints of quince, candied mandarin, hints of hazelnut, cedar and sweet spices. The palate is fruity and juicy, it offers a tangy frame, minerality, suppleness and elegance. It also presents good definition and a lovely floral side in guideline. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of candied orange, dried zest and small notes of dried flowers, combined with touches of kumquat, dried apricot, as well as a hint of toasted/dried almond, orange blossom, sage and a hint of smoke and nutmeg. A nicely defined and precise wine. A hint of pepper on the finish/persistence.
