The nose is powerful and offers intensity and a small concentration (but full of elegance). It reveals notes of black cherry, Quetsche plum and small notes of small wild red fruits associated with fine touches of cornflower, liquorice stick as well as a discreet hint of Cuben pepper and a very discreet hint of sweet spices. The palate is fruity, fresh, well-balanced, ample and offers a good definition, a beautiful freshness, a very fine richness (in the background), minerality, a beautiful definition/roundness, juiciness as well as an acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of black cherry, blackberry and small notes of juicy/fresh Quetsche plum associated with a touch of fresh/acidulous raspberry as well as small notes of chocolate, blond tobacco, caramelization and a very discreet hint of toasted hazelnut (in the background). Tannins are well-built.
