(50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 18% Merlot, 18% Cabernet Franc, 14% Petit Verdot) The nose is precise, racy and offers fine intensity and a lovely, precise grain. There are notes of sweet pepper, wild raspberry and small notes of wild blackberry, associated with touches of lilac, fine hints of infusion, as well as a hint of bergamot and a very discreet hint of spices. The palate is fruity, balanced and offers freshness, minerality/mineral frame, harmony, a melodious side, beautiful creaminess, sapidity, energy and a certain delicacy/sweetness in its coating side. The Cabernet Franc is sexy and seductive on the mid-palate. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cassis, violet and small notes of cornflower, combined with touches of small brilliant red berries, as well as hints of cardamom, toasted and chocolate. Lovely mellow tannins. Good length. Fine grain and textures in finesse. Presence of a subtle, almost sappy hint on the finish/persistence.
