The wine benefits from being decanted. The nose is spicy, with notes of camphor and dense wild berries, combined with hints of toast, clove and a fine hint of vanilla. The palate is fruity, with freshness, minerality, a fresh frame and a fine tension. There are notes of juicy and fresh cherry, raspberry, as well as juicy and bright blackcurrant. These aromas are combined with touches of purple plum and subtle balsamic spices, clove and a hint of toast. Tannins are mellow and savoury. Good length.
