The nose offers a nice crunchy fruit, a very nice elegance, depth and subtlety despite a certain power. There are notes of quenette, fresh vine peach and more slightly of crunchy white berries combined with fine nuances of lychee, discrete/delicate floral touches, fresh citrus (lemon and a discrete hint of fresh kumquat), subtle racy minerality, vanilla blossom and a subtle almost toasty edge. A lovely coating of fruit. The palate is fruity, fresh and offers a nice crunch, a stretch, a very nice freshness/minerality and richness. Nice delicacy and aromatic palette. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/pulpy vine peach, fresh lychee and more slightly juicy citrus (grapefruit, kumquat) combined with hints of juicy/pulpy nectarine, fine points of salinity, racy minerality as well as very discreet toasty touches. Nice acidity, sapidity and a fine crunch on the finish. The wine needs to be decanted. Nice persistence. A very discreet tannic touch on the finish. A favourite wine of the Vertdevin team due to the ripe aromas of Sauvignon Blanc!
