Pauillac de Latour 2023 – Pauillac

A lovely fruity, gourmand, finely creamy, deep, dense, nicely mineral/gravelly nose and offers a fine airy cremosite. It expresses notes of pulpy blackberry, violet, fresh cubeb pepper and more lightly – ripe/fresh red berries, bright berries, as well as fine hints of sweet spices. The palate is nicely led, fruity, balanced, bright, supple, airy and offers energy, a nice burst and acidity of the fruit, a tangy frame, accuracy, tension, minerality. It expresses notes of juicy/pulpy cherry, acidic/juicy blackcurrant. A nice freshness and burst of the fruit. It expresses notes of juicy/fresh blackberry, juicy/fresh cherry and more lightly – blueberry associated with touches of fresh red berries, as well as hints of lilac, nutmeg, star anise, and a subtle saline hint. Good length and persistence. The tannins are soft. Nicely fresh and juicy, the persistence is tangy and saline. Nice finesse and accessibility
