The nose is fruity, fresh and fine. It reveals notes of crushed blueberry, cassis and slight notes of crushed/fresh strawberry associated with notes of spices, chocolate/cacao as well as a very discreet hint of violet and Sichuan pepper (in the background). The palate is fruity, gourmande, elegant and offers a slight juiciness as well as a slight creamyness. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of juicy wild strawberry, ripe redcurrant, fresh raspberry, ripe cassis and slight notes of crushed blueberry associated with a discreet hint of toasted oak, a hint of sweet spices as well as discreet hints of chocolate and a subtle hint of caramelization (in the background). Tannins are fine, a bit firm and well-built. Beautiful persistence.
