The nose is relatively aromatic. It reveals notes of boysenberry, cassis and slight hints of plum as well as a discreet hint of Sichuan pepper and a hint of toasted oak/leather. The palate is fruity, mineral, supple, slightly juicy, well-balanced and offers fat, suavity as well as a slight smooth. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of plum jam, blackberry and slight notes of cherry associated with a discreet hint of raspberry, liquorice as well as a discreet toasted hint. Tannins are well-built. Good length.
