Pastourelle de Clerc Milon 2016  – Pauillac

The nose is fruity and offers a good structure, a frank side as well as a good de – nition. It reveals notes of blackberry, wild red fruits and small notes of cherry asso- ciated with small touches of owers (iris, violet), spices as well as a very discreet hint of Ceylan tea, chocolate/oak and incense. The palate is fruity, juicy, elegant, gourmand and offers a beautiful juiciness, a beautiful gourmandize, an acidu- lous frame, suavity, freshness, unctuosity as well as a beautiful precision/aromatic sharpness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of black cherry, eshy/juicy raspberry and small notes of wild strawberry, eshy plum associated with ne touches of owers (corn owers, lily)/varietals as well as discreet hints of liquorice, dark chocolate, caramelization and oak. Tannins are ne, structuring and very discreetly rm/dry. There is a very discreet hint of dry almond as well as an imper- ceptible hint of tobacco on the nish/persistence. Beautiful suavity, gourmandize!
