The nose is spicy, aromatic and offers a certain intensity. It reveals notes of aromatic herbs, local grove and small notes of fairly ripe blackcurrant associated with touches of tobacco, toast as well as a hint of graphite, camphor and a very discreet hint of roasting. The palate is fruity, balanced, racy and offers accuracy, suavity, gourmandise, a tangy frame, good definition, accuracy as well as suppleness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of balsamic, crushed redcurrants and small notes of pulpy blackcurrant associated with touches of wild raspberry, hints of cornflower, tonka bean as well as a subtle hint of roasting and aromatic herbs. The tannins are fresh, tasty and sapid. Lovely tangy and marked balsamic persistence.
