Passopisciaro – Contrada C 2022 – Terre Siciliane

The nose is elegant, intense, airy, stretched and offers intensity in its grain. It reveals notes of balsamic, redcurrants and small notes of wild raspberry associated with touches of violet, blackberry as well as a hint of smoke. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, suavity, good definition, a certain gourmandise, accuracy, a nice silkiness, a little freshness, smoothness in accuracy, a little density as well as an acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of redcurrants, red plum and small notes of balsamic associated with touches of star anise, sense of place (local biotope) as well as a fine hint of olive tree and dry soil. Good length. Nice persistence with a subtle hint of sweet tobacco and mocha.
