The nose is aromatic and offers power as well as a certain intensity. It reveals notes of wild red berries, bay berries and small notes of wild blackcurrant associated with fine hints of pepper as well as a hint of crushed redcurrant and discreet hints of balsamic. The palate is fruity, balanced and offers juiciness, a tangy frame, a nice definition, gourmandize, tension, a very nice tangy, precision as well as power in accuracy and juiciness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of small bright/tart red berries, concentrated wild raspberry and small notes of blackcurrant associated with touches of bay berries, tangy blueberry as well as fine hints of star anise. The tannins are sapid and tasty. Good length. Nice suppleness and silkiness. Nice persistence.
