The wine has a pale ruby color with very light garnet reflections. The nose is airy, subtle and elegant, with complexity and depth in freshness. It opens with aromas of gourmet roasting, chocolate-toasted hazelnut, blond roasted coffee, associated with a herbaceous and menthol side (peppermint, even eucalyptus in the background, fresh oak and pine sap) as well as a spicy hint of liquorice and cardamom. Tension and freshness in the fruity material on the nose – we can smell notes of fresh cherry, blackcurrant, sour red cherry, raspberry and morello cherry in the background. The palate is airy and delicate, with an attack on tangy red fruits (red cherry, cranberries, raspberry), associated with notes of blackcurrant and fresh cherry, as well as a bitter hint of bergamot, coffee and cocoa. The toasted and spicy flavors (toasted hazelnut, coffee, chocolate, licorice, cardamom) appear in the mid-palate and on the persistence. Tannins are structured and grippy, but quite fine. Beautiful salivating acidity and a good bitterness on a long persistence in the mouth.
