Pascal & Mireille Renaud – Aux Bouthières 2017– Pouilly-Fuissé

The nose is aromatic, racy and offers gourmandize as well as a good definition. It reveals notes of fleshy apple, fleshy William pear, small notes of small crushed yellow plum associated with fine touches of racy minerality, small crushed fruits as well as fine hints of toasted, vanilla, butter brioche and an imperceptible hint of orange and pepper (in the background). The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a juicy/acidulous frame, a beautiful definition of the fruit, precision, an aromatic purity, grain as well as a fine grain/racy and a small unctuosity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crushed William pear, small pulpy yellow plum, small notes of crushed yellow apple associated with small touches of butter, vanilla and very fine hints of racy minerality, vanilla flowers and a subtle hint of fresh hazelnut/nutmeg. Good length.
