Pascal et Nicolas Reverdy Terre de Maimbray 2023 – Sancerre

The wine has a pale lemon yellow color. The nose is gourmand, even slightly exotic. It expresses the aromas of passion fruit, gooseberry, green plum, white peach, lime, lemon zest, as well as white flowers (acacia, apple blossom), limestone and dry stone. The palate is juicy, gourmand, fruity and tangy. The attack expresses notes of tangy apricot, white peach and green apple, combined with chiseled flavors of lime, yellow lemon and grapefruit. In the mid-palate, we feel a mineral touch of limestone, a hint of passion fruit and gooseberries. The finish is chiseled, with straightness and salivating acidity. Good persistence in the mouth, with the tangy side of passion fruit and a touch of good bitterness from lime and grapefruit). A lively and typical wine of the terroir.
